Ok so I'm slightly obsessed with technology. Here are a few of my techno-faves:
| WEB DESIGN: I used to work at Compu-tech as a web designer, even though I really suck,
but it gave me an opportunity to pretend that I don't suck, and that made me happy. Anyway, the work there is really slow, so I left. I also had another part time job at Rossi Metal, and I've been getting alot of freelance web design work. . |
| CT2600: CT2600 is a huge part of my life.
The members of CT2600 are all great friends of mine, and while we have our squabbles in IRC land, we really are a great group. CT2600 is also where I met my fiancee, ACE (he doesn't like people knowing his real name)
who brought wonderful joy into my life. The group is largely defunct now, but with the recent revival of irc.2600.net, we've been getting some new members. First Friday of every month at the Meridan Mall. |
| HACKING AND PHREAKING: Ok so I admit, after joining the workforce I sort of grew out of the H/P scene. I think it was just a phase I went through. Granted, I still use
some tricks to help me out, DOS attacks and credit card fraud have just lost their appeal. It all started on DALnet, where I joined such channels as #2600,
#phreaks, #up$, #ppc, and others that I can't remember. Me, being a girl, got AOPS in every channel within a week. I sorta liked the attention, so I became what is commonly known as a "scene whore".
Then, at some point I moved onto more local chapters of hacking and phreaking on irc.2600.net, where I hooked up with ct2600 and ACE, and it suddenly became clear to me that DALnet kids had nothing to do
with what hacking and phreaking really were about. I sorta lost track of phones and their insides, but conveniently enough, my fiancee, ACE, is great with that stuff. Go to his website at mhc.pimpdomain.com

| COMPUTER HARDWARE: I love the insides of computers, and I love taking them apart and trying to understand them. I collect old hardware, like 8088's, 8086's and all that. I love the old hardware, even though the new technology is amazing.

| Networking: Networking sucks. I really hate it. I also hate wires. Wires should be banned.
